Samples 3 – Origami

Intaglio printing is all about subtle changes in hight within the plate were you can trap ink. Some origami forms have a great variation in the number of layers across the finished piece. The experiment I did here was with the Pinwheel tessellation. (not technically origami as you have to cut the paper to get the effect.) Samples 2 – Corrugations

Commuting back and forth to town you drink a lot of take away coffee. When your eyes are opened to the mark making potential of everything around you, you can’t throw all that interesting card away. You can see some of these cards in Starcharts #4 – 6.
