Circling Around

This post is about the project that was going to be my summer (out of the studio) project, with plenty of time to get a minimalist Mokuhanga under my belt and its the last weekend of August and I’ve only just got the proofs printed. This little project is a little leaf on the very end of a tenuous branch of investigation with it’s roots in all sorts of places.

Map VIII -Exercises in Futility

I tried to do some new sketches for my 64 maps of hyperspace. It was hard. I even wrote some blurb, but I lost it. Anyway here are some examples of three weeks of frustration. When I’m feeling a little more relaxed about the experiment I’ll come back and comment on them fully.

Here be Dragons

Much has changed since the last time I updated the tale of the Dragon Tea Party pot. Here’s the story so far. In so much that it is now definitely a Dragon tea party and no one else. I also have, paper ink, a design and a reluctantly a change in block material. Where to start but with the Dragons I think.

Yet again it is the time of year for Morley’s Print Department to send each other post cards of their work. This year I am only receiving a more sensible eight cards and here are four of them. It’s always lovely to hear them drop through the letter box, thank you very much for all your hard work
