I wandered up to my local park this afternoon, for tea and a bun, thinking that the weather would be cooler today and a walk would do me good. There I discovered an event organized for the community to make stuff.

Like water under a bridge

Last weekend I was up in the Peak. In the heat on Saturday, up on Dovestone Tor on Derwent Edge, eveything was very bright and still. Of course I left my camera in my tent.

There was lots to look at, and lots to draw… but were to start and what to chose.

Earthquake – a progress report

This image drawn from life last year, has been coloured on a computer, over a pencil sketch – i’m still learning about light/shadow.

After the quake, but before the arrival of the tidal wave, people stood out in the open on the quays.
